Beijing

Well I don't have the camera with me but since we have taken a holiday from blogging I figured that it was time to at least get something back on the blog. Jen is still in the US hanging out with her sister and nieces. I came to Beijing the other day to go snowboarding with with a guy from work and one of my customers. The snowboarding in China doesn't even come close the anything in Utah! But it was fun to say that we went in China. We also went and walked around in the Bird's Nest, that is quite the place. There is no snow on the ground here but we have still had sub-zero temperatures the whole time. It is so cold!

We spent about an hour last night trying to find scorpians to eat but we couldn't ever find them:(
We did however see a restraunt that served dog, we are going back today! Last nights dinner was one of the worst I've ever had. I normally like the foods that we were having but it was all spicy beyond belief. We had frog, rabbit, crawdads and cow fat. It was so spicy that it nearly killed us but I made it out okay, so far.

Today I think we are going to go see the Great Wall and Forbidden City. The original plan was to snowboard again today but with the resort not being all that great we decided that we would go see Beijing instead.

Cow fat. You have come along way from your childhood picky eating patterns. Pepto anyone?

Dear Blog Stocker-
Don't worry about the stocking--I read a few blogs that they don't know and I feel weird about it and haven't yet told them : ) So welcome! I think Quinn looks exactly like Thurm, but he doesn't see it.

I forgot you guys were in China, but I think Janey or someone had told us that. Thats awesome! Thurm & I have thought about going back to Taiwan this summer, but we haven't got it worked out yet. How long will you be in China?

You should email Thurm and get him excited about running again : ) He did a marathon and then hasn't run since but keeps talking about it. Haha.

Eat some 7-11 food for me!

That's just gross. If you get to the Great Wall I would love to have some pictures of it for my social studies classes. E-mail them to me or your mom and tell her to forward them to me!!!! Any other pictures that you come up with from China would be great too. I am so jealous that you are there.

If you go to the great wall, I want to see your pictures. What a cool thing to be able to see stuff like that! Going to pick up some bread, stop by the laundry mat and oh yeah I think I'll walk along the great wall of China today! Who gets to do stuff like that?! Oh yeah, you.
